Even if we don't get the opportunity to travel a lot like some people do, we all fall into some sort of category of traveler. No matter where you are going or what you travel in, there is a category that fits you. Figure out what kind of traveler you are by checking out the different descriptions below.
Are you the seize the moment type of person? This would be the type of person that simply requires a response to their inquiries immediately or they are moving on to the next place for information within twenty four hours.
How about the no fuss personality? Are you the kind of person that simply does not care about any of those boring details. All you want to do is find a place to go and stay right away and can't wait till the whole process of making the darn reservations is over.
Are you the last minute Larry type of person who has decided at the very last minute that you and the family need to get away from it all and not now but yesterday? The only thing they're looking for is a place not to far from home with a golf course nearby and the place accepts credit cards.
Of course then there's the good old bargain shopper. This is the person that probably doesn't want to rent several rooms but is looking around for the cheapest vacation home or condo that can be had and definitely does not want to pay for any of the extras. This traveler will be looking to find rates that come with special deals that come with a lot of free stuff like free Internet, free long distance, free HBO or Showtime, etc., etc.
Then there's that like to migrate. When it gets cold in the winter where they live, just like the flocks of birds fly south so does this traveler. This is the person that's looking for a place to snuggle in for the winter and probably want to stay for a while and will be looking for something that reminds them of the home that they left back in the snow. This migratory species of traveler generally refuse to bother with the Internet and prefer to take care of all their business over the phone, probably trying the patience of everyone they talk to.
Or could you happen to be the too much information traveler that simply needs to tell your entire life story to the person that you are trying to set your reservations with? You know the person that interrupts the other person who is trying to give you the important details of the place you might want to stay and you've just got to tell them about the reason why you need this vacation so bad or you just can't stand hearing anymore nagging from your mother in law about staying where she thinks is best.
There is also the traveler that requires every single detail down to the color of the walls in the room about the place they are thinking of staying. This person actually might want to know the exact dimensions of the room that they'll be staying in or exactly how many steps it takes to get down to the beach and even if the local grocery store carries your favorite organic fruits.
Whatever the type of traveler that you might be remember that the people trying to help you are just that only people. So, try and make sure that you understand that they do want to help you find what you are looking for it's just sometimes travelers aren't always the easiest people to work with.
